The learner advocate supports trainees  by offering one to one support, referral advice to at risk learners and helps to explore and plan progression options.

How the Advocate help our trainees;

​

• Referring and liaising with external agencies and services

• Conducting Interest assessments

• Develop personal Career Plans

• Assist with CVs, Mock Interviews & Job applications

• Encourage learners to explore their own Interests and Values

• Attending college open days

• Support Learners on Work Experience Placements

Our trainees can meet with a counsellor in the centre for guidance and support.
